The Footprinter is now available on GoldSET!
The Footprinter is an online tool designed to help you compare options/technologies/designs on the basis of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and energy consumption. The Fooprinter provides the analyst with the ability to create their own GHG sources (construction site equipment for instance), as well as the possibility to import from an organically growing library of GHG sources. The user can also choose to perform a first-order of magnitude estimation of the GHG (fast way) or to go with a more precise estimation for a project.

The Footprinter is actually part of GoldSET, but can be use as a stand alone tool as well. If you want any more information or have any question concerning this new feature, please contact the GoldSET team.

New upgrades are on the way!
The Phase 10 GoldSET upgrade is in the process of being developed, and is expected to be implemented soon! Keep your eyes out for this upgrade that will expand upon the number of options available for comparison, and give the tool a new look and feel!

IT Canada and Americana
GoldSET demos were being offered at the Americana Conference held in Montéal during April 2011. New GoldSET partnership with Concordia University
A new partnership with Concordia University has been establish to assist with undertaking the research and development required for a new GoldSET Wastewater module. GoldSET will be working closely with Concordia over the coming months in the development of this module, with an aim for release in mid-to-late 2011.

Intersol Conference (update):
Robert Noël-de-Tilly will be presenting GoldSET at the 2011 Intersol Conference in French at the 11h00 – 11h30 timeslot on Thursday March 31, 2011. His presentation is entitled "GoldSET: a decision making tool aiding the integration of sustainable development into contaminated sites rehabilitation." If you're at the conference be sure to drop by!

PDAC Conference:
The GoldSET team will be present and offering demonstrations of the GoldSET tool at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) International Convention, Trade Show and Investors Exchange next week in Toronto from March 6 to 9, 2011. We look forward to meeting you there!
